It’s been so much fun doing these recaps. Really, this is the best way to remember the good times. I’m so glad we have so many pictures
I hope you’re not too bored
So the reception started with our wedding party introduced to the rest of the guests, and then Adam and I came out at the end. The photographer asked us to come out slowly so he could get a good photo of us, but the second Jennifer Lopez’ Let’s Get Loud came on, my hips started moving and I forgot all about it. It was so much fun!

Then we slowed it down for our first dance as husband and wife. Awww

Fast forward to cake cutting!! Adam decided it was a good idea to cut the largest slice of cake EVER. It was hard work. Made for some pretty classy pics too

Sweet kiss

Our cake had a double chocolate layer, and a vanilla/lemon layer and slices were served with chocolate covered ice cream. Mmm, so much chocolate

Oh yeah, and you know we also had the chocolate fountain. It was quite popular

A brownie covered inĀ chocolate… I promise I was NOT eating chocolate the entire wedding

Father/daughter dance:

Mother/son dance:

And a whole lot more dancing…

Yeah, little Justin was definitely the star of the show… except for the bride of course
Innz, what’s this move?

Oh yeah, I made a fool of myself too…

Random pics…

Adam and I went to Umass Amherst. This is all of our UMass friends from freshman year of college:

Erin and Pete were on the same floor in the dorm as Adam and I our freshman year. They got married a few years before us

Last one… after everyone left, Adam and I went outside to reflect on the evening. His parents took a few pictures of us. It was the most gorgeous view and was the perfect ending to the most amazing night!

We celebrated our first year of marriage this whole weekend. It was gorgeous weather… just for us, right?
I’ll be back with the recap of yesterday soon. Lots of amazing food and wine was consumed so I hope you check back soon.
How was your weekend?

Awesome pics! The weekends are always so short
I love the pictures. Your dress is gorgeous. I think I would have cut a big piece of cake too, but then again I am weird so my cake will be wheels of cheese.
i said it before and i’ll say it again — you two lovebirds are so precious

Since we had such a small wedding, I missed out on those
I love the COLOR of your dress. From the photos it reminds me a lot of mine…creamy but with a *tiny* but of pink, like a pearl. It really flatters you!
And it’s nice to see photos of your sis, after reading her comments!

Happy late anniversary! I loved the recaps
Those pictures are so cute! Thanks for sharing them with us all.
Hi Elina,
Love the site, where did you get married, I am planning a wedding and that place looks AMAZING!!!
Al – we got married at the Hyatt Harborside in Boston (right by the Logan airport). At first when we saw it was right by the airport, we were a little weirded out, but the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is wonderful and the views are stunning (because you’re on the other side of Boston, you get to see the entire city!). If you are getting married, then congrats
… and I’d definitely recommend the Hyatt.
What a gorgeous, gorgeous wedding. I would never have thought of the Hyatt Harborside to have a wedding! After looking at your pics, I’m definitely calling to get some rates, etc. for mine. Thanks so much!
I’m late to the party but you were absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful wedding and pictures!
